Donuts with sweet cheese

I tried them a few months ago and I can write that I beat papanas from afar, they are absolutely soft, fluffy, not oily at all! They can be served with cream, chocolate sauce, jam or just powdered sugar. Ingredients for the sweet cheese donut recipe

  • 300 gr fat cow's cheese

  • 230 gr flour (+ a little flour for spreading) If you use weaker cheese, another 20 g of flour may need to be added

  • 125 gr sugar
  • 2 sachets of vanilla sugar
  • 450 gr fat yogurt (I used 10% Greek yogurt)
  • 50 ml milk
  • 100 ml oil
  • 150 gr corn (grayed out)
  • 50 gr fine gray
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder.

Method of preparation

  • The cornmeal is mixed with semolina and baking powder.
  • Separate the eggs. Beat the egg yolks with the sugar and 50 ml of yogurt with the mixer until a thicker light yellow cream is obtained. If you want other flavors, in addition to vanilla, you can add a little grated lemon or orange peel.
  • Add the oil in a thin thread while you continue to mix. Add the rest of the yogurt and mix again for 1 minute. Add the milk and mix for a few seconds.
  • Add the cornmeal mixture in the rain, while mixing manually with the celery.
  • Beat the egg whites that are on the phone. Incorporate into the dough in three slices, stirring lightly with the aim of not letting go. The result will be a frothy dough, which flows and self-levels.
  • Grease a 28 x 18 cm tray with butter. Pour the composition slowly into the tray from a short distance.
  • Place in the preheated oven at 170C for 40 minutes, until golden brown on top and the toothpick comes out clean in the center.
  • Allow to cool, then slice. Serve simple, powdered with sugar or with a fruit sauce, raspberries for example.

You can also add a simple chocolate sauce obtained by melting a milk chocolate, or a raspberry sauce obtained by boiling raspberries in water with sugar. The sauce can also be accompanied by some sweet cream.

Method of preparation

Separate the egg whites from the yolks. To prepare the dough, whisk the egg whites with the sugar, using the mixer.

From the mixture obtained, take 4-5 tablespoons in a pot, add 1 tablespoon of cocoa and mix well.

We prepare the tray with baking paper and from the cocoa dough, with the help of a spoon we put some stains. When we no longer have dough, we make corners on the spots with a spoon or toothpick and we are careful not to touch each other. Then spread the yellow dough in the pan, being careful not to damage the stains. Bake the dough in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, until it starts to turn a copper color.

Meanwhile, prepare the filling, unwrap the compote, set it aside to drain and grate the sweet cow's cheese. Cut the butter into small pieces and rub it with the mixer until it becomes frothy, gradually add the grated cheese with powdered sugar.

Take the baked dough out of the oven, carefully pull out the baking paper, place it on a damp but well-squeezed towel, roll it up and let it cool.

After the dough has cooled, we open it from the towel and spread the cream cheese in such a way that the thickness of the composition is thinner towards the edges. Place the cherry pieces and roll lengthwise. Leave to cool for about 1 hour before serving.
