Ingredients for the recipe for minced meat roll, in braided dough
- It took:
- 500 g flour
- 7 g of yeast
- 300 ml water
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 10 g sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- & frac12 teaspoon baking powder
- 500 g minced meat
- 400 g tomato pulp
- 1 onion
- 150 g corn
- 100 g cheese
How do we prepare the recipe for minced meat roll in braided dough?
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
The flour is mixed together with the yeast, salt, sugar and baking powder. Mix well with a fork or fork until the dry ingredients are evenly distributed.
Make a crater in the middle and add slightly warm water and oil and mix with a fork until the dough begins to form.
Put everything on a lightly floured board and knead until a soft and elastic dough results but does not stick to your hands or board. If necessary, add more flour until it reaches the desired consistency.
Meanwhile, in a large non-stick pan, prepare the filling. Heat a little oil and add finely chopped onion and minced meat.
We will keep them on high heat, stirring often, until the onion is slightly cooked and the meat changes color.
Add the tomato pulp, mix well and simmer for 3-5 minutes.
Minced meat can be of any type preferred: pork, beef or mixture, depending on desire or availability.
Meanwhile, spread the dough: on the board sprinkled with a little flour, spread a sheet of about 30 x 40 cm and a half cm thick. I suggest that after this step, put it on baking paper. This can be done in the end but will be more difficult to handle.
On the longer sides we will make some diagonal cuts about 7 cm long and at a distance of 2 cm between them (to make the braid after we put the filling).
If you find the rolled dough too big and it is difficult to handle, you can divide it into 2 and make 2 smaller pieces.
We return to the filling. It can be seen that it left quite a lot of liquid. We will strain it as well as possible otherwise it will flow while it is in the oven. Add the corn and mix well enough to distribute evenly.
Put the filling in the middle of the dough and press it a little enough to be compact. Add the grated cheese on top and start to close the dough. We will start with the short ends and we will lift them and turn them over the meat filling, pressing them to the edge to stick.
Then take each strip of dough and close the filling on the surface, alternating them to look like they form a braid. We press them on the edges to stick and we do the same with the rest.
On top it can be greased with beaten egg or it can be left simple.
Put in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
The minced meat roll should be allowed to cool very little before serving to cut nicely.

Minced meat roll
Chopped meat roll: 1 kg lean meat, 150 g bacon, 2 onions, 1 slice white bread (core) 1 raw egg, 4 hard boiled eggs, salt, pepper, 1 teaspoon chopped greens 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs, lettuce or beets .
The meat is passed through the mincer together with the two finely chopped onions, raw or browned in lard, the soaked bread crumbs and the bacon. Add salt, pepper, chopped greens and raw egg. Everything mixes well. Lay a clean, well-soaked towel on the table. On it lies the rectangular shredder with the base three times the height. In the middle of the meat rectangle, place the hard-boiled (and cleaned) eggs in a row, one after the other. Lift the ends of the napkin so that the mince covers (covers) the eggs. The roll is placed slowly on a greased pan and greased with a soaked wedge on top.
In lard, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and bake for 1/2 hour. It is served cut into slices the thickness of a finger, garnished with lettuce or beetroot salad.
Ingredients for children's meat roll
We present a roll of snail-shaped meat, very healthy, which will bring the little one the intake of vitamins and proteins that his body needs. Thus, you begin the preparation of the "dumplings" with the meat roll, preferably made of chicken, which will serve as the merchant's house. There it is here the recipe for a simple and very delicious roll!
We move on to the construction of the snail and we reach the stage where you have to form its body, which will be made of rice. It is preferable to choose a rice with a round grain, which does not lose its shape during cooking. For an absolutely delicious taste, we advise you to boil rice & icircn chicken soup.
In order for the edible animal to be complete, it needs eyes, which you make from small pieces of olives, a few hairs, from parsley, carrot antennae and a so-called "grass patch", which will be made from boiled peas. The end result will be like the one in the picture and you can be sure that there will be no trace of snails left on your child's plate.
